Hi everyone,
I’m new in the business, I have attended one call today. Customers complain it won’t start at all,just make some clicking noise and that’s it. Previous technician changed control board and lid lock it run for a day or two again same thing.
Model number is Whirlpool WTW5010LW0 top load washer. Any help much appreciated.

Hello Nil, thank you for getting in touch. Check the lid lock assembly again. It might have a loose connection or is not engaging properly, which can produce a clicking noise. A faulty drain pump, part number PS12731241, can also produce a clicking noise, if it is not working. We hope this helps.
Our washer was running water constantly where you put the detergent and came up with error codes F08 and E01. We had to unplug it and now it is locked with our clothes inside and cannot take them out. We have replaced the water pump and washer inlet valve 4 coils and now we’re wondering what else. It also would not excrete all of the water when the wash would be done.

Hello Liz, thank you for reaching out. The error codes F08 and E01 indicate that your washer is not detecting the correct amount of incoming water. Our suggestion would be to check the water level switch, part number PS11754877, to fix the issue. You may also need to check the drain hose for blockage. A clogged drain hose will prevent water from draining after the wash. We hope this solves your problem!
Our machine went out of balance and was immediately shut off. Now the only thing that happens is the drain pump runs continuously and the machine will not reengage - even after I unplugged the machine multiple times. The only LED that lights is the door lock. How do we get the washer back on line?
Can we reset the system to unload the washer and start over?

First some background. The door locked up the first time when appliance was less than one year old. The "Maytag Repairman" finally succeeded in getting the door open after propping up the front of the machine and fumbling around underneath for a period of time and then assured me the problem was solved. The problem recurred less than a
... Read more year later, and I called another repairman who seemed to have an easier time of it, and charged $293.42 to replace the water level switch. About six months later the same problem recurred and I took the cover off the top of the machine and found there a booklet "For Service Technician's Use Only". VERY HELPFUL. Told how extremely easy it was to unlock door - took about five seconds. Replacing the switch itself involved pulling one tubing off and disconnecting one elec connection from old switch and replacing on new switch. Total cost $50 plus a few dollars for shipping.
Turned washer on its side. Pulled the bottom plate off. Then unplugged the electrical lines. Then unbolted the drain pump and bolted the new drain pump in. Then reversed the process.
This product comes in a bottle with a brush like Liquid Paper. It goes on incredibly easy. A second coat might be needed. I wanted to prevent rust from setting in so I covered the scratches and dings. The paint is a little brighter since my washer is 10 years old but it still looks great.
