I need to be able to clean under the drip pans, but there is no wire to hold up the whole stovetop like most models have. The whole stove top is screwed down. I can see that there is a place to put wires on both sides under the stovetop cover--are lift wires available? We have to be able to clean this every week and having to unscrew them every time is not efficient nor practical. We did not notice this unfortunate glitch when we bought it.

They are not available to retrofit on this model, however, there might be a crossover from other models. We bought an older maytag stove top stove but burners do not work. Is it possible to buy some for this model numbr and how much? Thanks

Hi Susan, thank you for reaching out. The 6-inch surface burner elements for your model are part number PS11751368, and the 8-inch surface burner elements are part number PS11753288. They are sold individually. We hope that helps!
Removed the oven door by opening slightly, then pic door up to remove. Remove 2 screws holding oven sensor in place, gently pull on sensor to remove, had to remove about 8 inches to get at plastic connector. Unplug connector, had to use an adapter cable supplied with the PartSelect kit to install new sensor, push cable back into opening,
... Read morereinstall 2 screws. The oven works fine! Note that due to thermal lag the temperature overshoots to 370 degrees and undershoots to 340 degrees, this appears to be normal oven operation. Putting door back in place was easy.
I ordered gray enamel drip bowls and they fit perfectly. Unfortunately 2 of them were chipped and bent slightly. They still worked which was better than the make shift ill fitting ones that came with the house so I decided to keep them. I did tell parts select about it and they sent me a new order of drip pans at no charge. I used the
... Read more perfect ones but the 8" drip pans flaked off paint after one use. I guess this is an Amana defect...the paint doesn't stick under heat.
Moved the Appliance out unplugged it and removed the backing plate then Remove the Knob and unscrew the infinite switch then marking the 5 wires to know where the go on the new switch, removing and replaced it with the new one
