My timer switch is failing on my dryer. It will work but I have to jiggle it and pull the knob out a bit to get it to run. I would like to replace it but I'm not sure of the part number. Can you help?

There is a loud squealing noise as the tub is spinning. As it runs the noise slowly goes away.

Hello Fred, thank you for asking. According to our research, the dryer will make attempts to move the clothes in an "on and off" condition. This will overheat the motor and trip the overload switch of the motor. We would recommend checking the drive motor, part number PS334304, to fix the issue. We hope this helps!
I put a ps334313 heating element in and mine only had 2 wires new one came with a wire to use am suppose to use it.

The single wire is used to repair a damaged wiring connection from the motor or thermostat to the heating element. The same 2 wires will be used to connect the heating element. To reach the heating element you only need to open the back cover of the dryer (about 8 nut-head screws). Remember to disconnect the power.
To remove the heating element there are two small nut-head screws. Remove the two electric wires. Then you can pull the heating element away.

Don't hurry to dispose the old element. My model includes a small electric safety part. You'll need to transfer it to the new heating element (that comes without it)..
First tried heating element and thermal fuse with no luck. Ordered thermal cutoff and fixed problem. Had I used an ohm meter first I would have determined problem before having ordered heating element and fuse, as both had resistance. I wast just lazy and ordered the took the most common failed components first before taking dryer back
