My dryer will heat and run for an intermittent period of time and then stop. The timer cannot be heard advancing when it stops. I can turn the dial, press the start button and the dryer will start back up and dry for a few minutes and then stop again. The position on the dial does not affect the length of time that the dryer runs.

Hi Cindy,
Thank you for your question. If the dryer is shutting off too soon, there are some parts that you will need to check to see which one is causing the issue. You will need to check the timer knob base, the timer, the start button, door switch and the motor. You will need to test the parts with a multi-meter. Here is a link to one of our videos on YouTube that you may use as a general reference on how to use one, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bWC44fHn0As. You should also check the dryer vent to make sure it is not clogged. If it is, you will need to clean it and see if this resolves the issue. We hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day.
