Unit defaults to 30-31rh, does not do any dehumidifying, just fan running and shuts off

Hello Mark, thank you for reaching out. According to our research, a failing humidity sensor might be sending a false, static reading to the control board. Since the unit detects a level of 30%, it assumes the air is already dry and refuses to engage the compressor for dehumidification. Replacing it might help fix the issue. The part number is PS18182870. We hope this helps!
