The unit control board becomes unresponsive.
Compressor continues to run but fan motor stops running with the result no heat exchange. This is a new control board which lasted two months working flawlessly. Fan motor and bearings are fine. When I reset board by unplugging and wait for pressures to equalize and then restart the system the unit works as it should until control board hangs up and a reset is required. The point and time of failure seams to be at random. I have not been able to associate the failure with any specific external event which might be causing the failure. Unfortunately the board was purchased a while back so even though the board is relatively new in terms of run time, the warranty has expired. Any ideas on what may be causing the logic failure?

Hi Eric, thank you for the question. Based on our understanding of the issue, we would suggest you check the control board, part number PS7789431, as the wiring might be loose or disconnected. If this part is faulty, you may need to replace it. We hope this helps!

Ac unit would not power back on after a power outage.
Ordered a new control board for this unit. Removed some screws for the housing to get to the control boards. Then just pulled all the connectors off and installed the new boards.
