I need to replace the ice dispenser in my fridge that catches the ice and dispenses it. The part on the back that slides over the medal part on the door is stripped and does not allow the motor to turn the blades on the ice dispenser to allow the ice to fall.
The model number of my fridge is LSXS26366S /07. I have looked for the part number and am un able to find it and I would like to know if the part listed is for my fridge before I order it.

Hello, my refrigerator is not working. It’s running HOT, not cooling the freezer or the refrigerator. The lights are coming on and the compressor is vibrating but it’s not cooling. Can you help me trouble shoot it?
For model number LSXS26366S
Hi Sareda, thank you for reaching out. Based on the description, we have concluded that the issue is with the evaporator fan motor, part number PS11710288. It circulates air through the freezer compartment for efficient cooling. We would recommend checking the evaporator fan motor if it is stuck. If it is not running at all, then you may need to replace the motor to fix the issue. Good luck with your repair!

Refrigerator Ice maker quit producing ice.
This repair was easy. The ice maker assembly is basically a plug and play unit that requires first removing the ice bucket as described inside the freezer door. Next, remove several screws the support the unit, then gently lifting the ice maker assembly out, just far enough to access the 2 electrical plugs that operate the unit. Caref

ully unplug the old unit and remove it. Next, plug the new unit and then reverse the disassembly process. I could have done this in 10 minutes had I not been careful not to break anything. No special tools are required.

Ice chute would not open.
Removed ice dispenser and display with small screwdriver from front of the fridge. Pried out the whole piece slowly. This exposed the motor that activates the chute. Plugged in the new motor before any removal to verify the motor was the problem. When it worked, removed old and installed new. 3 screws. Piece of cake.

Fan Blade Loose
I paid for the expedited shipping and they sent me a cheap knockoff attempt at the part that had the wrong size hole. So they refunded me the money I paid for the part but not the shipping, and then I crushed the part they sent me with a hammer and threw it away.
