Refrigerator is flashing an H code- what is wrong and what will I need to do to fix it
For model number LFSS2312TP0
Hello Donald, thank you for your question. H or HI or High Temp indicates the freezer and/or refrigerator section of your appliance have exceeded the temperature threshold. This is usually caused by inadvertently not closing the door all the way or leaving the door open for an extended period of time. We hope this helps.

No water comes out of door dispenser. Ice maker appears to be working. I am trying to generate a decision tree for diagnosing. Start with water comes into solenoid. Are there 2 solenoids, one for door water, the other for ice maker? Or one solenoid that allows water to go to door and ice maker on demand? Where does filter fit into the system? Does supply go to filter first, then splits to door and ice maker? What is filter filtering? Thank you.
For model number LFSS2312TP0
Hi Will,
Thank you for your question. The water will flow through the filter first before splitting off and going to the dispenser and the ice maker. There is a another solenoid on the water inlet valve. To verify if the water inlet valve is operating normally, you will need to test it for continuity with a multimeter on the Rx1 setting. You should receive a reading between 200 and 500 ohms. If you receive any other reading, you will need a replacement water inlet valve. We hope this helps!

water leaking out of refrigerator
In my specific appliance the water valve is located in the bottom right hand corner looking at it from the back. To get to it I remove the thin layer of cardboard the covers the back of the fridge. I then proceeded to disconnect the 1/4" copper tubing which is the water feed coming out of the wall. Then I removed the screws that hold the

valve assembly in place. I took the water valve out and removed the electrical connections as well as the plastic tubing which feed the water dispenser and the ice maker. To install the new water valve it was just a matter of reversing steps.

Support studs were broken
Used pliers to remove the residual broken stud that was still attached to the wall of the refrigerator, and then just pushed the new part in place. The longest time was spent in removing the food and crisper drawers.
