I am getting a .50 error code. I need to shut off the power each time in order to run the DW again. Can you tell me what may cause this?

Hello Jim, thank you for getting in touch. If you are getting an i50 error code, it means that your dishwasher thinks the circulation pump is not running properly. Check your dishwasher filter and sump for signs of foam, suds, and debris. Make sure you clean all the filters and clear any foam or suds from the sump. Turn on the dishwasher, select a suitable cycle, and start it. If the cycle starts and operates normally, the problem has been resolved. If this does not solve the issue, then you will need to replace the entire main circulation pump, part number PS12718731. We hope this solves your problem!

Frigidaire dishwasher lfid2459vf1a . Turned on by itself showing " .30 " on the display and sounds like it's trying to drain but no water in it. None of the buttons have any affect and shutting off and turning power back on results in the same problem reappearing.
