I replaced the lightbulb in the fridge with a standard 40 watt ceiling fan lightbulb and it still does not work. Is there something else I need to know?

Hello Linda, Thank you for the question. We suggest first trying the appliance bulb made for the appliance, PartSelect Number PS12751166. If the proper bulb is used and does not work, you may need to test the Socket and the switch with a multimeter to check the continuity. We hope this helps!
Refrigerator will not start. Inside and cooling fan running. Sounds like compressor starts, runs 3-5 seconds, clicks off, waits 3 minnutes, then will try again. Frigidaire manfactured 10/12, not very old.
