I have, in the past, removed the back panel so I could remove lint. I cannot seem to get it all out so now I would like to remove even more of the housings but cannot seem to locate the correct parts to take off. I need to get behind the screen (part number: Ps347545) somehow. I really would like to get all the lint out of the back but need to break it down even more. Can you advise?

Hello and thank you for writing. Here are a few steps you can follow that should clear the lint from the dryer: Step 1 Unplug the Whirlpool Duet dryer's power cord from the dryer outlet. Open the dryer door and pull out the lint trap from inside the door. Set aside. Step 2 Insert a dryer lint brush into the lint-trap cavity of the dryer. Slide the lint brush from side to side inside the cavity, then pull out the brush and lint. Remove lint from the lint trap and insert it back into the dryer. Close the dryer door. Step 3 Remove the two screws securing the lower front panel to the Duet dryer by using a Phillips-head screwdriver. The screws are under the bottom ledge of the lower-front panel. Pull the panel away and set aside. Step 4 Brush out as much of the lint as possible from the inside of the cabinet using the dryer lint brush. Use care when brushing around wires and their connections. Step 5 Attach an upholstery brush to your vacuum cleaner and vacuum the remaining lint from inside the cabinet. Again, use care around wires and their connections. Step 6 Position the lower-front panel back onto the dryer and secure it with the screws. Plug your Duet dryer's power cord back into the outlet. We hope this helps. Please contact us anytime if you require further assistance.

My basement got water in it got my dryer wet now it won"t start
For model number LDR3822PQ1

Hello Jeffrey, Thank you for the question. There would be more then one part to check if it was flooded. You would need to test any electrical part with a multi meter to check on continuity. You would need to check wiring, motor and controls. Anything with electricity. We hope this helps!

Hi Sadie, Thank you for writing. We suggest testing the Thermostat to check continuity. It is located on the Heating element so you will need to open up the cabinet to access the Thermostat. We hope this helps!

Hello, my dryer is making a rhythmic thumping/banging noise, about 1 beat per second, a bit like a metal sound. Any idea on what this could be? It is drying fine and otherwise working well. Appreciate any help, thank you.

Door Catch part had fallen out,/ was missing
Received your parts, Popped them both right into place, Even though only one side needed to be replaced, I wanted them to match up. It was amazing how easy this was. My husband was quite impressed I had ordered these rather then look for either a new or used dryer from some other source.

Dryer would stay on after opening the Door. The switch that turns off the dryer when you open the door was not broken.
You open up the lint filter access door and remove the two small screws that hold it to the top of the dryer. Once they are removed, you insert a flat blade screwdriver under front-top of the unit and the top will pop off. Exerting a little pressure towards you will help lift to top off the mounts. There are no other screws to remove.
The new switch comes attached to a clip. You just pull off the old clip and replace it with the new one and discard the old switch.

Door wouldn't latch.
I can't believe I waited so long to find this part and do this. I got the package very fast, opened it, took the piece to my dryer and popped it into place with my fingers. It worked perfectly! this took all of two minutes and saved me from having to hold the dryer door closed with a stick. Thank you, thank you!!!
