Unit turns on/off when you touch the temperature slider.

Thank you for your question. If the refrigerator is turning on/off when you should check the wires to make sure they are secure on the thermostat. If the wiring is good the thermostat will need to be replaced. We hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day.
How do you tell that the freezer and fridge are working or not working, the lights are on but no noise

Hello Shahin, Thank you for the question. If food is unthawing in the freezer and items are not cool in the Fresh Food section will tell you if the appliance is not working properly. The compressor will kick on and off to maintain the temperatures in the appliance, it will not run at all times. We hope this helps!

Is the freezer door gasket the same as the refrigerator’s door?

Hello Lorraine, Thank you for reaching out. The Freezer Door Gasket is listed as Part Number: PS1960725 and the Fresh Food Door Gasket is showing as Part Number: PS11748879. They are listed as two different Gaskets. Good luck with the repair!
