My crock pot model number is as above, without the 0 at the end. Is this the same? I'm trying to order a new ceramic bowl for my crock pot and am afraid the insert here will not fit. I believe it is a 6 qt but the measurements do not seem to be quite the same as mine.

I inadvertently poured a sticky sauce into my slow cooker without the ceramic insert! I had only just turned it on and realized my mistake right away as the glass lid did not fit. I wiped out what i could and then noticed that the sauce had gone down the two small holes in the bottom and, when i tried with a q-tip to clean the two holes out, the sauce seemed to be contained within the 2 areas. Would it work for me if i managed to push a hot, soapy cloth down the two holes as this does not seem to interfere with the electronics?

I just used my new slow cooker yesterday. I bought it to replace a kitchen aid slow cooker that was 13 years & had a cracked insert. My old cooker lid came with a seal for the lid. The new on didn’t have a seal for the lid. I called kitchen aid & asked if my cooker should have a lid seal. I was told that this model does not need a seal. The lid didn’t fit properly & that made me concerned. The meal that I made in my slow cooker turned out horrible! It was a recipe that I have made about 20 times in my old slow cooker & it always turned out great. This time the meat did not cook properly & the vegetables we still hard. What a disappointment.
The manual refers to a lid seal. I also looked on line at kitchen aid parts for my model & there is a lid seal part. I’m very disappointed in Kitchen aid. I feel I should not have to pay to replace a seal that I never received. I can’t return the cooker because I’ve used it. I feel I’m out $129 dollars, or I have to spend extra money to get what the manual say I should have received. I’m a loyal kitchen aid customer. All my kitchen appliances are kitchen aid. Fridge, dishwasher, cooktop & oven - microwave. Now I would think twice about buying kitchen aid in the future.
Very disappointed.
