Valve will not stop running.

Hi Loren, Thank you for your question. If the valve will not stop running you will need to replace the diaphragm. First, turn the water off. The secondary water shut off is typically covered by a chrome cap, which can be removed with a wrench. To turn the water off, use a flathead screwdriver to turn the water shut off in a counter-clockwise direction. At the top of the flush head, there is a either a 6 or eight sided bolt. You will need to loosen it so you can remove the flush head cap. As you loosen the screw, you will notice that water may pour out. This is normal. After you have removed the cap, there is a large black disc that you will need to remove. This is called the diaphragm. Remove it and replace it with a new one. Once the diaphragm has been replaced, reinstall the flush head cap. With the cap installed, you can now turn the water back on. We hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day.
