Igniter would not spark
Electricity and gas were disconnected from the range. The cook top was removed from the counter by lifting and then turned upside down to gain access to the spark module. The cover was removed by unscrewing 17 screws to access the module and wires. All the wirecolors and locations were written down on a piece of paper and removed from

the module. The module was removed and replaced with the new part. All the wires were re-connected using the diagram made earlier and the range was tested for spark before the cover was replaced. After replacing the cover, the sealing gasket between the cook top and the counter was replaced and the cook top re-installed. Electricity and gas were re-connected. It works fine now.
