can not get burner to ignite
For model number JGP328BEC1BB
Hello Michael, thank you for contacting us. We would recommend checking the spark igniter, part number PS11736298. It creates the spark that ignites the burner. If this does not help, the issue is probably related to the spark module, part number PS231281. It controls the spark for lighting the range's surface burners. Customer service is always available to help you place an order if you are having trouble doing so. Good luck with your repair.
Really simple..Opened the top of the oven and followed the four wires hooked to the igniters on the burners to the back of the oven. Unscrewed top section in back of oven. Saved more than $100 for service call and whatever elevated price they'd charge me for the spark module.
I removed the old igniter by working a thin screwdriver under the edge of the igniter, and carefully prying it up. I then used pliers to pull off the electrical wire. Connected up the new igniter, and pushed it back into the hole. A very simple repair.
I've replaced 2 igniters on this stove. My symptoms were that when I tried

A rubber grate foot on my range top had worn out. I pulled the worn foot out and installed the new grate foot with no tools or accessories. Good as new! Now I don't have to worry about the grate scraping my range top and scratching the paint. I also ordered extras so I won't have to wait if another wears out.
