What part do i need to fix oven not lighting ignition seems to be ok i think i need an oven control as burners work fine
For model number JGBS60DEK2WW
Hello Glenda, Thank you for your inquiry. We have researched your model and still recommend checking the flat style oven igniter kit as it may not be drawing enough electricity to ignite the gas. We also recommend checking the temperature sensor, the control valve, the oven burner assembly, and the oven control. You can test the parts with a multimeter. If you are unfamiliar with how a multimeter functions, we have videos available to assist you. Good Luck with your repair!
My oven will not turn on , the ignitor gets red hot but the burner never starts
For model number JGBS60DEK2WW
Hello Jose, thank you for reaching out. The igniter can glow red, but still be bad. The igniter is the most common problem when your oven won't turn on. We would recommend checking the igniter, part number PS231280. It is used to light the oven burner. We hope this solves your problem!
