I need instructions on how to use the oven cleaning option
For model number JGB660SEJ4SS
Hi Edith, thank you for reaching out. To use the Self Clean feature:
1. Start with the oven at room temperature.
2. Remove all items.
3. Close the door. Slide the door latch handle to the left as far as it will go.
4. Press the Clean pad, select Self Clean and then press Start/Enter. 4 hours will show and count down in the display in the Self Clean mode.
You cannot open the door during the self-clean cycle. The door will remain locked after the self-clean cycle until the oven cools below the unlocking temperature. At the end of the self-clean cycle, allow the oven to cool and wipe any ash out of the oven. We hope this information helps!

I had to reset the breaker in the kitchen and now the GE JGB660SEJ1SS burner’s aren’t working. None of them are receiving the natural gas. I switched the gas supply on and off but still no gas.
For model number JGB660SEJ4SS
Hi Bill, thank you for reaching out. The valve or the cap itself can get clogged with grime and food residue over time. If either becomes clogged, then the gas can not flow through. If the gas cannot flow through, it cannot form a ring, and it is not present to be lit by the igniter. You can easily remedy this problem by washing the burner cap. If the issue persists, you may need to replace the igniter switches and harness assembly, part number PS12702961. We hope this helps!

When the oven is turned on it makes a loud noise. The door opens slightly and you can smell gas.The smell of gas diminishes, the oven cooks. Does my igniter need to be replaced or is there a bigger problem? Have not used oven since.
For model number JGB660SEJ4SS
Hi Dave, thank you for the question. Based on the description that you have provided, we would recommend checking the gas valve control assembly, part number PS12742826, which controls the gas supply for the bake and broil burners and limits the incoming gas pressure to a safe and constant level. If this part is malfunctioning, gas can build up and flash, causing a small boom noise in the oven, and you may need to replace this part. We hope this helps!
