Why do you not include a picture of the unit filter in your publications. Does this unit really requires a filter? And if so, what is the correct part number for the filter?

Thank you for your question. Please accept our apologies that we do not have a photo of the filter at this time. As we continue to update our website, we will include more photos as they become available. There is a filter listed for your dehumidifier. It is number 3 in the parts diagram. The part number listed under your model number for the filter is PS12583072. If you would like to place an order for it, you may order it either online or by calling our customer service line and anyone will be happy to assist you. We hope this helps! Is a replacement fan available for this model? Mine has broken blades.

Is the plug also the hose attachment for draining.

Hello Lois, thank you for your question. The Model is listing only a few parts but the Plug is not one. The Float and the filter are the only parts to be replaced.
