Our oven randomly fails to stop heating up when it reaches the target temperature. It turns the burner all the way on, burns whatever is in there, and only shuts off when it gets so hot it gets an error. It doesn't happen every time. We've tried restarting and also running a cleaning cycle without solving the problem.

If this is not helping, then we would recommend checking the control board, part number PS8736125, to fix the issue. Please reach out to customer service if you need help placing an order. Removed the wall oven to access temp probe connector strapped to the back of the oven. removed 2 screws holding probe inside the oven & replaced. Searched for the "fixing kit" thermostat part I was suggested to replace along with the probe. No thermostat type part was found in my oven, even though Bosch says it fits "somewhere". Reinstall
