Top frezzer wont swing closed is ther a nylon washer on bottom of door

Helo Rich, thank you for your question. I do not see a nylon washer on the bottom of the actual freezer door. You might want to check the middle hinge that goes between the two doors to see if the hinge has bent or rusted. I hope this helps.

Hi Daniel, thank you for contacting us. To reset the ice maker in your GE refrigerator, you will need to turn off the ice maker. Leave the ice maker off for about thirty seconds, and use that time to find the wire shut-off arm on the side of the ice maker. Next, turn on the ice maker after thirty seconds and push the feeler arm up three times. Afterward, try running an ice-making cycle to see if the machine responds. If it makes ice, you are set to go. Otherwise, check the fill tube and water line to ensure nothing clogs the water system. Thank you for your inquiry, good luck with this repair!

Pull the refrigerator away from the Wall and unplug the power cord. Remove the lower back panel (7 screws) remove 2 screws holding fan and motor assemble in place and unplug the electric to the fan. The fan assembly will pull out completely. Hold the metal stem that the fan blade is on with pliers to prevent from moving or damaging the
... Read more motor and slowly and carefully pull off the old blade. Push on the new blade till its snug. Vacuum any debri at the base of the refrigerator. Put back the fan assemble with the 2 screws and the back panel and your done. Result was a quiet refrigerator.
