Control/display panel above the ice/water dispenser does not allow for full mode selection or control. Looks normal until pushing "ice" or "refrigerator temperature up" buttons, which causes multiple indicator lights to come on not associated with the desired selection. Led indicates "water" is selected and water dispenser works. Press the "ice" button, and multiple lights go on, but it does not change to "ice" dispense mode. Temperature change to adjust the refrigerator warmer also causes misc lights to come on and does not change fridge temperature setting. Temperature change to adjust the refrigerator cooler works. Freezer temperature up and down work. What do you think the problem might be and can I order replacement parts, such as the controller or display circuit boards. I have years of experience repairing electronic instrumentation. Thanks. Mark

Hello Mark, Thank you for the question. This is normally an indication the Electronic Control Board PartSelect Number PS2348044 is defective and will need to be replaced. We looked up the part and it is listed as No Longer Available/Discontinued sorry. There are no part substitutions listed. Our suggestion here would be to call the manufacturer and see if they can provide you with a substitution for these part numbers and contact us back with he updated substitution number. Pressed in the end of the filter cover, lowered it down part way. Twisted the old filter 1/4 turn and removed it. Set in the sink to drain. Inserted new filter and twisted it to lock. closed cover. Done. Total time @ 1 Minute.

I ordered the parts and they were there in less time than a service tech could come out and i installed the parts and guess what for 90.00 in parts and 15 minutes in time I repaired my refrigerator. Thanks guys, It took less time to order the parts than it did to make the repair so thanks, your website rocks and is very well designed so my hat is off to you guys!
I removed the drop-down outer housing by gently prying the sides of the two pivot pins at the rear.
