My dryer turns on but will not spin what could the problem be?
For model number GFDR480EF1WW
Hello Ashley, thank you for your question. We would recommend checking the belt to see if it has broken, and if it is intact test the motor and thermostats in the unit, as well as the door switch. I hope this helps!

Dryer is spinning but not heating up enough to dry clothes
For model number GFDR480EF1WW
Hi Darren,
Thank you for your question. If your dryer will not heat, there are some parts that you will need to check to see which one is causing the issue. You will need to check the heating element, the high limit thermostat, the cycling thermostat, and the electronic control board. We have included a link from our website that you may reference on how to check these parts. Once you have determined the part you need, please call customer service. We look forward to hearing from you!
We have replaced the belt and all 4 roller wheels. Now we need to replace the motor, will we need to order new clips for the motor?
For model number GFDR480EF1WW
Hello Cheryl, thank you for the question. The drive motor compatible with your model is part number PS11774536. We recommend checking the old clips; if they are broken or not compatible with the new motor size, you may need to replace them with the clip resilient mount, part number PS8767548. We hope this information helps!
