The indicator lights around the selector knob are lite. I am not able to start the dryer. I have unplugged the dryer for several minutes with the same results. Press and hold power button with same results. Intermittently the drum interior light will flash.

The dryer is unresponsive. I turned the circuit breaker off, waited several minutes, then turned it back on, but nothing changed.
Pressing the power button does nothing.

door latch doesnt catch do i need to takenoff numerous screws to get door off to get latch off

Hello Holly, thank you for contacting us. To remove the door latch of your model, you may need to follow these instructions:
1. Open the door and unscrew all the screws from the door cover on the inside of the door.
2. After removing all the screws, gently remove the door cover.
3. Once the cover is removed, you can simply pull out the door latch.
4. Install the new door latch by reversing the same procedure.

DRYER STOPS WITH MESSAGE: "DOOR" THEN PAUSE IN MOMENTS AFTER STARTING. IF I SHUT THE DOOR VERY HARD (ALMOST SLAM IT), IT WILL RUN FOR A WHILE BUT THEN AFTER 5-15 MINUTES REPEATS THIS ERROR

Could tell from the sound it was making that it was related to drum rotation. Searched online videos on how to disassemble this model GE Dryer. The Dryer drum rides on 4 rollers. 2 of the 4 of mine were very noticeably loose and made a similar noise when I spun them by hand. Simply replace the rollers and re-assembled.
