Not draining thru drainage hole. Draining from hole above regular drainage hole
For model number GEH50DEEDSRB
Hello Goldie,
Thank you for your question. We suggest disconnecting the hose from the faucet then open the water heater drain valve and attempt to drain the tank through the drain valve. If the water still won't drain correctly, your clog may be too severe or your valve is defective under part PS8759079 for your model and would need to be replaced. We hope this helps.

h the pliers and after catching a couple of threads, I used the Element Tool and got the elements tight. Reconnected the wires on each (order of wiring did not matter), turned the water back on to check for leaks, and when no leaks occurred I simply put all insulation back in place, replaced the covers and turned the power back on. I had HOT water in an hour or less.
