How do I replace the heating element? My heated drying feature is not working
For model number FGID2474QF3B
Hi Matt, thank you for reaching out to PartSelect. If you are facing a heated drying issue, then the circulation pump assembly with heater will fix this issue. The heater for your model does not come separately, it comes within the circulation pump assembly. You may need to replace the circulation pump assembly, part number PS12365774. We have found the installation instructions for the circulation pump assembly. These instructions are not for the exact model but will help you in installation. Turn off the power to the dishwasher and shut off the water supply valve. Then disconnect the drain hose from the sink drain and tip the appliance back and rest the rear panel on a towel or blanket. Then remove the bottom cover panel if any by just un-threading the screws. And then disconnect the wires from the pump circulation assembly. After that, remove the pump retaining bracket by un-threading the screws. And pull the pump circulation assembly out to detach it from the sump. Follow all these steps back to install the new pump circulation assembly. We hope this information is useful!
