Door won’t stay partially open when not in use
For model number FGID2466QF9A
Hello Debbie, thank you for you question. The issue may be due to Hinges PS12365372 that are stiff or stuck so that the door closes tight. Or, perhaps the latch is malfunctioning PS16218716. We hope this helps.

Hello Blaine, thank you for contacting us. The lower spray arm rotates and sprays water to clean the dishes inside the dishwasher tub. If it is not rotating, the issue is most probably with the lower spray arm, part number PS11770610. We would recommend replacing it to solve the problem. Glad to be of help!

Hello, my dishwasher is having issues. When I try to run a cycle after about 20 mins I get a burning plastic smell, then shortly after that it will trip the gfci or the breaker it self. It will run on the rinse only to empty all the water. Thanks for the help.
For model number FGID2466QF9A
Hello Brad, thank you for your question. If you notice a burning smell or an outlet smell, it may be a sign that your circuits are overloaded and need attention from a qualified electrician. GFI may trip if you connect malfunctioning or defective appliances. Loose, corroded wires or connections may also be to blame which will give the burning smell.. Once the GFCI outlet senses an overload, it trip will trip the GFI. Good luck with your repair.

The spray arm would fall off during the washing cycle.
Repair was simple. I unscrewed the old grommet which held the old spray arm and screwed-on the new one. About 30 seconds was required. Other people having this problem should note that the spray-arm is made of three pieces which are inseparable when the arm is new. The arm is sold in this form. However, when your machine is having th

e problem that the arm falls off, the three pieces become separate. When you want to replace the spray arm, only one new part needs to be ordered because this part encompases all three components.
