My dryer stopped heating well, taking several hours to dry a small load of clothes with barely warm heat after 5th or 6th cycle or more. Starts off cold until then. What could this be?

Hi Veronica,
Thank you for your question. If the dryer is not heating, there may be an air restriction preventing the dryer from heating. Inspect the lint filter, the lint duct, the exhaust hose, and the exterior vent for lint buildup. A build up of lint can prevent the dryer from working normally. If there is no lint build up we recommend checking the heating assembly and the dryer thermal limiter. We hope this helps!
Every load on the spin cycle the washer goes unbalance . Ive adjusted the legs and still can't get the tub to straighten up it leans to the right on the spin cycle . Took my level to check and the bubble is between the lines.. help!!

Hello Addie,thank you for your question. You may need to replace the suspension spring. Its function is to stabilize the outer tub by keeping it balanced.
Is this model vented or unvented i can't tell because i can't see in the back. How long should it take to dry if it's a vented model it seems to be taking more like 2 hours.

Hello David, thank you for your question. Yes, this is vented. If the unit is taking too long to dryer, the unit might need to be vacuumed out well or there may be a clog in the vent. The other issue it could be are the thermostats, or heating element. If cleaning the unit doesn't fix the long dry time issue, we would recommend testing the thermostats and heating element. ... Read morelt at the motor. Access panel at rear of dryer. 7.Unscrew 3 screws from inside, center rear of drum. 8. Remove drum through the front of the dryer. You may have to spread the sides apart a little bit for it to fit 9. Lift up on the rear drum bearing to remove it from the bearing retainer. ( U shaped plastic socket) 10. unsrew 2 screws and remove the bearing retainer, ground ball. Ball retainer is on outside of dryer. 11. Vacuum everything--duct, blower, lint trap, ect. 12. Intall new bearing retainer and grounding ball, an assistant is helpful at this time, one to hold ball retainer on rear of dryer, one to screw it in from the inside 13. reassemble remainder of parts in reverse order.

Unplugged Dryer. Opened top of Dryer, over the drum. Removed Thermal Limiter. Tested the Thermal Limiter - found it was open. Checked all vents and exhaust tube for lint build-up. Replaced Thermal Limiter. Closed top of dryer. Plugged Dryer back. Tested Dryer - it works.
