FE1124PS LG Range - Instructions

Dropped a hammer on the range while removing a ceiling light. Viewed a How-To video on Google. Ordered the needed parts. Followed the steps from the How-To video. Reinstall was a bit tricky by myself - could have used an extra set of hands. I have a few words of caution:
1) Put something between the range top and range - like a sheet or drop cloth - to prevent a dropped screw from falling into a crevice in the stove. I dropped a screw and was unable to retrieve it, even with a magnet.
2) Makes sure you remove all bumpers, screws, clips, etc. from the item being replaced and put them on the new item if the new item does not come with replacement bumpers, screws, etc.

simply take picture b4 you start then replace same way.

WARNING!!! MAKE SURE YOU HAVE RIGHT PART!! They are very slow to return any type of credit

We had made this determination with the help of a repairman on the phone. I ordered the part and waited for it. It was stuck in West Virginia. After several days after it was expected a repairman fixed my range to the tune of $168. It should have cost $30 (the cost of the part and shipping).
Unfortunately I probably won't order from PartSelect again.

This is a very simple repair of remove and replace. You do have to lay down the range to make it easy.

Was very straight forward and easy to do. You have to be careful not to drop screws or wire harness down into the side of the stove. We dropped one wire harness but were able to retrieve it with a magnet on a long handle. After dropping the first one, we placed cookie sheet over the holes. And didn't drop anything else.
