The filter is clean, the water tank is empty. It runs for hours and collected no water, does not reduce humidity. Its old but never had any problems. Any idea what might be wrong?
For model number FDL50S1B
Hello Dave, Thank you for the question. If the dehumidifier is not collecting water even when the room temperature is over 65 degrees, there may be a problem with the fan motor and it should be replaced. We looked up the part and it is listed as No Longer Available/Discontinued. There are no part substitutions listed. Our suggestion here would be to call the manufacturer and see if they can provide you with a substitution for these part numbers and contact us back with the updated substitution number. We hope this helps!
