why is water left in the bottom of the dishwasher after finishing washing dishes?

Hello friends, my dishwasher is leaking water from the bottom, throughout the element chamber that holds the power cabling. The plugs are fried, and i am wondering how to find those plugs? I can provide pictures.

Thank you for your question. If the dishwasher is leaking water from the bottom, you should check the pump and the hoses attached to it. Before inspecting and testing the parts, turn the power off to the dishwasher. Make sure that the hoses connected to the pump are secured tightly and inspect them for cracks. If the hoses show signs of damage and leakage, they should be replaced. If the hoses are fine test the pump with a multimeter to see if it is operating correctly. Set your multimeter to the Rx1 setting and touch the terminals with the probes. This test should produce a reading of exactly or nearly zero. You should also check the ground connection of the pump. To do this, leave one probe on the terminal and touch the other to the bare metal housing of the pump. This test should not produce any reading. If your readings differ from the results above, you will need a replacement pump. The plugs you are referring to are likely part of the dishwasher wiring harness. If the wiring is damaged we would recommend replacing it. The part number for the wiring harness is PS1148333. We hope this helps!
Remove the bottom cover plate. Disconnect the water inlet and black rubber hose. Remove 2 mounting screws. Pull out electrical connector. Reverse order. Be sure to get the brass inlet connector really tight so it won't leak. I did the final tightning after the part is mounted. Not a bad repair at all. The only problem was that it

First I opened the door all the way. Second I reached down to the bottom gasket then grabed it on the right end of the seal that is on the right side of the door. Then I pulled the end outward from the bottom of the door toward the heater coil in the bottom of the washer. It came out real easy. You see it just snaps into a little plastic

I then placed the new gasket in place by lining up the notch toward the right end with the piece of plastic that encloses the right end of the plastic notch on the bottom right end of the door. Then push it in untill it stops going into the notch. It snaps in but does not make a snaping sound. It just won't go in no more.
