Model numbers can be made up of numbers (1005400, for example) or a combination of letters and numbers (LAT1000AAE). The model number will most likely appear on either a paper sticker or a metal plate. I did not do the repair since the part shipped was not the correct one. I have contacted Customer Service by phone and mail and nothing has been resolved.
I would, at least, like to return the incorrect part. An new one would be great but not holding out hope.
