If there is, the fan cannot circulate the cold air throughout the refrigerator. If there is an ice buildup, check the drain to see if it is clogged and check the defrost heater to see if it is working correctly. Hi Charlie, Thank you for your question. To turn the ice maker off manually raise the shutoff arm up to the off position. Your ice maker has automatic shut-off.
