Ice maker dripping water after making one batch of ice. Had been on all day, appears to not be getting water to trays all the time
For model number ED2KHAXVB01
Hi Russell, thank you for reaching out. According to our research, we recommend checking the water filter, part number PS11722128. If this is clogged or bad, replace it. If this does not solve your problem, we suggest inspecting the filter's inlet water tube, part number PS886401. Clean the tube, and if it is bad or broken, replace it. If the issue remains, you may need to replace the water inlet valve, part number PS11723179. If these parts are fine, most likely the ice maker assembly, part number PS11749917, is faulty. You may need to replace this part to fix the issue. We hope this information helps!

I have ice forming in bottom of freezer.
For model number ED2KHAXVB01
Hi Jane, thank you for contacting us. Based on the description that you have provided, we would recommend making sure that the defrost drain is not clogged or frozen. If the defrost drain is frozen, the water will overflow the drain trough and drip down to the bottom of the compartment and freeze up. Check the defrost drain to determine if it is clogged or frozen. If the defrost drain is frozen, thaw the ice. In addition, flush the drain with hot water to ensure that it is clear of debris. If that does not solve the issue, then you may need to check the defrost heater, part number PS11750673, as it is most likely faulty and may need to be replaced. We hope this solves your problem!

Refrigerator shuts off for a while causing things to melt and defrost in freezer. Starts back up out of no where and works fine for a while then does it again. Just replaced the capacitor and it's doing the same thing. Cleaned all the coils, didn't help. I hear a click like it's done defrost mode and should start back up but doesn't could take a whole day or more to start back up then runs great for a while. Not sure if it's relay or defrost part??? Thank you.
For model number ED2KHAXVB01
Hello Jody, Thank you for inquiry. You can test the relay with a multimeter, but the most likely cause could be one of the control boards or cold control thermostat. Check both the main control board near the compressor and the defrost control board for any loose connections or visible damage, and you can also check the wiring connectors and thermostats with a multimeter. Good luck with your repair.

Frig is in the garage. It’s cold outside. Freezer only goes to 34 degrees. It’s turned all the way down. Frig works when it’s warm out. How do I fix the freezer? Is my only option to move it inside?
For model number ED2KHAXVB01
Hi Don, thank you for reaching out. The issue you are experiencing is likely due to the refrigerator being in a cold environment, which can affect its ability to maintain the proper freezer temperature. Refrigerators are designed to work within a specific temperature range, and when the ambient temperature is too low, it can cause the freezer to not cool properly. We would suggest checking the temperature control thermostat, part number PS11740364. It helps to maintain the proper temperature in the freezer and fresh food compartments. You may need to replace it to fix the issue. We hope this solves your problem!
