Front Drum Bearing

This front drum bearing helps your dryer operate as quietly as possible. It is about 10 inches in height and 22 inches in width. It is made entirely out of plastic and is white in color. If your dryer model has a light in it, remove the light bulb before removing the bearing because it will hit the bulb and potentially shatter it. This is an OEM part and is sold individually. Please note that although the slides are not included in this part, the drum slides should also be replaced when replacing this bearing.

FILTER & MESH ASM

This is a lint filter screen that is used for many dryers. It has a metal screen with a white plastic frame, and is approximately 13 inches wide. This part is sold individually. The lint filter traps lint while clothes are being dried and prevents the lint from building up in clothes and internal parts of your appliance. Neglecting to clean your filter on a regular basis can negatively affect the operation of your dryer and is a fire hazard. Be sure to clean your filter on a regular basis. Installation is easy, simply slide the filter in and out of the filter slot.

LATCH DOOR

This door latch is designed for your dryer, and is mounted to the dryer frame. The door latch holds the door of your dryer closed while the machine is operating. If your dryer door is not catching on the door strike, and will not stay closed, you may need to replace the door latch. This part is square in shape, and is approximately 3/4-inch in length, by 3/4-inch in width. The part is made of white plastic with a metal tab. To access the door latch, you will need to remove the top and side panels on your dryer. To complete this repair, simply pop the damaged door latch out of position, and snap the new one into place.

First of all, unplug the dryer. I removed the two screws on the front of the cabinet to remove the top. I then took out the screws to remove the dial panel. Release the belt for the drum through the access hole in the rear of the dryer. Remove the front cover and pull the drum assembly out.

first I took the dryer apart 1st thing i did was unplug the power supply (safety first) then I removed the top of the unit then removed the front cleaned all the lint from the inside of the cabinet I found the proper belt size on part select.com the next day I had my dryer belt delivered (which cost 1/3 the price of the local repair shop price)
