won't start even with pull starter it runs one tenth of a second i took carb off clean it put back on added new fuel

Hello Ron, thank you for the question. According to our research, the problem appears to be with the Ignition Coil, part number PS9044018. If that does not help, we would recommend checking the Spark Plug, part number PS9983505, and Safety Switch, part number PS8984670. Could the zone control cable be bad if I turn the key and nothing happens. Is there a type of battery in the system.

Thank you for your question. If your mower will not start when you turn the key, the switch attached to it may no longer be working. If the cable and switch are fine, check and make sure that you have fuel reaching the engine. Inspect the carburetor and the fuel lines. You should also check to see if you have a dirty or disconnected spark plug or a dirty air filter. If the filter is dirty, you will need to replace it.
