Washer model didn't come with softener dispenser
Just bought my washer and dryer from Home Depot, but bought an Admiral model that didn't come with a fabric softener dispenser. Ordered the part from PartSelect and after rocket fast shipping installed it in seconds. The installation required no tools as the dispenser just snapped right in. Machine delivered without fabric softener dispenser.
Removed the cover where the dispenser would have been installed and snapped the new one in. 5 minutes. When useing the dispenser after adding softener make sure to fill the dispenser with water to dilute and prevent staining.

Softener started dispensing some black gunk . I cleaned the dispenser but could not get all the gunk out. Decided to install a new dispenser.
Pulled off the old dispenser and popped on the new one. As easy as that. No tools needed. By the way. The service at Partselect was unbelievable. Had the part in about four days. Thanks Partselect.

My washer did not come with the fabric softener dispenser
Easy as ONE TWO not even a THREE. Just pulled off the cap on top the agitator and dropped in the dispenser. Gave it a little push to seat it and done. Sure beats the softener ball.
