igniter failed
take broiler oven door off. replaced the wire clip on one side of the two wire harness. on the other side, I clipped the other wire, used the wire sripper too strip each side of the wires and used the ceramic wire nut that came with the kit. I did not have to remove any part of the stove for this job. twisted the wire nut on, and my job w

Oven wouldn't light.
My existing igniter glowed but the oven still did not light. I determined it was too weak to activate the gas valve so I replaced it. Simple fix, four screws, wire nutted the two leads. Fired right up, took about 30 minutes to replace.
