Removed the cover 2 screws
Squeezed the 2 side sleeves and removed
Snapped in new button, replaced the cover. Done

interior lights stay on
Changed door switch. Repair worked for a few days but re-occured. Possibly the other switch is bad .

Not the fault of partselect. The manufacturer had decided to modify my part and still specifying that it was the NEW part number and that it was the direct replacement (shame on LG). Well its not the same part. The partselect CSR worked with me to try and find the previous design to no avail, even going so far as to give me the phone numb
