This is the model number on my craftsman 4 cycle weed eater I am needing the fuel tank assembly kit they show a different model number in the book .You are showing 316711971 just checking. Thanks

Hello Darcy, thank you for your question. The correct part number for the Fuel tank is PS11812933. Hope this helps, good luck with this repair.
Removed the 6 screws holding the red plastic cover, tank, and the old fuel lines from the carburetor. Placed the new tank in the sunlight for a few minutes to soften the new fuel lines. Then attached the new lines to the carburetor and replaced the cover
