My kenmore washer does not go into spin cycle and the lid lock light is flashing. Would this be a defective lid switch causing it not to spin?
For model number 11021492310
Hello Robert, thank you for the great question. The lid lock light will flash and cause the washer not to spin if the lid lock has not moved into the lock position. Be sure the lid lock and lid striker are clean, as lint or detergent buildup can block the switch and cause the flashing light. Also, check the lock striker that presses down on the lid switch. If the problem persists, you may need to replace the lid latch assembly, part number PS3497627. We hope this solves your problem!

Makes a lot of noise during the spin cycle
For model number 11021492310
Hello Chad, thank you for getting in touch. Check the drive transmission or gear case assembly, part number PS16220910. It might be worn out or defective. They have gears in them which can fail, causing the washer to be noisy during operation. Check the clutch assembly, part number PS10057144. The clutch assembly makes the connection between the transmission and the inner tub. If the clutch or its components are worn out, the washer will make loud noises. You will also need to check the drive belt, part number PS11747978. The belt gets loose over time due to damage or wear and tear, which can cause loud noise. We hope this helps.

Defective lid latch - Cabrio Washer
The instructions that came with the part were worthless. Essentially, unplug, put in new part, plug it back in. I spent a considerable amount of time on the internet and finally found a video showing how to open the top. Unlike other models, it is held down by clamps in the back rather than clips in the front. Once finding this inform
