Water leak from inlet valve
Had to pull the dishwasher from under the counter to access the water inlet valve. Disconnected the hoses from the inlet assembly. Removed the inlet assembly from the dishwasher frame. Installed the new assembly and reconnected the hoses. Plugged the dishwasher in, selected a cycle to run to check for leaks.
Three of the four roller of my upper shelf of my dishwasher had broken...I went on line and in ten minutes ordered my rollers....a few days later rollers came and within fifteen minutes my dishwasher was up and running.....thank you so much....I will absolutely use this site again for future repairs....Thanks again. This was simple. I took the door apart with a portable screw driver. Then I detached the wires and unscrewed the old module and replaced it. I then put the door back together, loaded the dishwasher and it cleaned my dishes. Even for this `old dog' it was easy.
After finding the leak source I have targeted the piece part on your web. It came 2 days after and I replaced the defective part by the new one. I switch off the water, untied the nut to release the pipe, take out the part.
I removed top dishwasher rack, popped off broken studs, and removed wheels from the tracks. I replaced studs on rack by popping them into place, and I slid new wheels back into wheel tracks. I place new studs into wheel assembly, slid rack back into dishwasher and replaced stoppers at the front of the tracks.
See GE web site for repair instructions. Take out screws at top of door. Slide unit out there is a spring on each side of the door just look at the good one for details. Easy fix. About 30 minutes.
One axle cracked and broke off; another wheel was had fallen off and was distorted when it hit the heating element.
Removed all 8 wheels and inserted the new one after inserting the axles into each wheel. Replacement wheels had a much better connection to the bottom rack and do not anticipate any problems in the future.
opened the box , new one was an exact fit, pulled out the old one and dropped the new one in place??, this is more of a review, the new part was the exact same one...perfect!
UNPACKED WHEELS AND CLIP. USING NEEDLE NOSE PLIERS SQUEEZED WHEEL TIP TO INSERT IN WHEEL. REMOVED OLD WHEELS AND RETAINER BY HAND. INSTALLED NEW WHEELS INSTALLED AND NEW RETAINERS
The wheels on the lower rack of our dishwasher kept falling off.
Removed the lower rack. Took off the old wheels. Put the axles on the new wheels which took a little manpower, but became easier once you did a couple (there are 8 wheels). Then snapped the new wheels on the rack which was really simple. The new design is much improved to the old one. The wheels glide better, then they ever did. We're sorry we didn't think of this repair years ago and the cost was a fraction of the cost of a new dishwasher.
