This clutch slider kit is genuine OEM replacement kit that fits in various models of washing machine. It is a part of the transmission system in your washer which is responsible for controlling the movement of the agitator during the wash and spin cycles. The assembly includes the clutch band, slider, and lock ring. The kit helps to regulate the speed and direction of the agitator or drum. It allows the machine to start and stop spinning smoothly, as well as change speeds as needed during the wash and spin cycles. If the clutch slider kit has worn or damaged components, it can lead to problems like difficulty starting or stopping the machine, excessive noise during operation, or failure to spin properly.

During the wash cycle, I hear a squeak noise come from the drum area. When the drum is at low speed cycle, agitating, the squeak varies in sound. It is definitely a rubber sound squeak, not a metal to metal squeak. I was researching this site to evaluate the assembly and maybe see if it has a belt drive system. Being it’s a direct drive, I’m now looking elsewhere in the parts assembly for a possible solution. If you any more information, please ask.
For model number MVW7230HW0

My washer stops during the spin cycle sometimes. I can restart it on the drain spin cycle and it will complete it.

Hi Matt, thank you for reaching out. Based on our understanding, the issue is most probably with the washer control board, part number PS16217891. It manages the washer's functions such as filling, washing, draining and spinning. You may need to replace it to fix the issue. We hope that helps!
when spinning does not get clothes completely damp still wet

If this is not the issue, you will need to replace the drain pump, part number PS11738156. We hope this solves your problem!
