What does this part do? Will it stop a leak coming out the bottom of the machine wetting the gear case the washing machine pulley?
For model number 11025132410

Hello William, Thank you for the question. The Tub Ring helps align the Tub and keep it balance. It will not prevent or cause a leak. This issue sounds like a worn Outer Tub Seal. The Seal was only sold as part of the Outer Tub. We looked up the part and it is listed as No Longer Available/Discontinued sorry. There are no part substitutions listed. Our suggestion here would be to call the manufacturer and see if they can provide you with a substitution for these part numbers and contact us back with he updated substitution number. We hope this helps!

My machine is ready for takeoff jumping all over and I ordered the hangers but believe they are okay. There is about 3/8 of an inch movement from side to side on the tub. Is the tub ring more likely my problem?
For model number MVWC565FW1

Hello Carl, thank you for contacting us. According to our research, the issue is most probably related to faulty suspension, part number PS12347546, and if they are fine then the drive hub kit, part number PS6012095, is the most likely cause. Customer service is available 7 days a week if you require assistance placing an order. Thanks again for reaching out!

Is this ring supposed to be fluid filled like a conventional balance ring? My washer still shakes badly after hub change, spring changes, and being set level. In the service mode I had it empty and set to low rpm spin and it went off balance immediately.

Hi John, thank you for contacting us. According to our research, the tub ring helps align the tub and keep it balance. It snaps over the top of the tub and creates a splash shield. It is a conventional balance ring. We hope this information helps!

I have already replaced the suspension rods, and the washer is fine during the wash and rinse cycles now. However, once it starts the spin cycle, it becomes off balanced. It is loud and the drum sounds like it’s banging against the machine as it jumps. Is this the part we need to replace?

Hi Britleigh, thank you for contacting us. If you have already replaced the suspension rods and the washer still shakes during the spin cycle, then you may need to replace the drive hub kit, part number PS6012095, as it is most likely worn out or damaged. We hope this solves your problem!

Hello I’m wondering what parts I need for a minor issue I’m having. When the washer is on spin cycle, it sounds like the drum is rubbing on bear metal almost as if a bearings are seized or felt is missing and something is rubbing directly on the drum. Please let me know what you think. Thank you.
