This O-ring is designed for use within various models of paint sprayers, and sits in between the manifold and manifold cap filter, to ensure that paint is used effectively and does not leak. This O-ring is an individually-sold, genuine OEM part made of Teflon, which is a highly heat- and chemical-resistant, synthetic material. However, due to normal wear and tear, excessive pressure, or damage, Teflon O-rings can tear or break, needing to be replaced immediately. To avoid having to replace this O-ring in the future, make sure to follow any of the original equipment manufacturer standards for maintaining your paint sprayer, along with regular inspections, cleaning, and proper storage. To replace this O-ring, make sure your paint sprayer is turned off and any extra paint is released from the spray gun. Unthread the manifold cap and remove it and the attached filter, and the O-ring should be attached between to be easily replaced.
