Kenmore microwave model 790.80329310 main breaker kept tripping so breaker was replaced with exact replacement, but breaker kept tripping as soon as start button is pressed. Did some looking around and the middle door switch was seized together so i ordered replacement and replaced worked for 15 seconds then breaker tripped again, and same door switch seized.

Hello Tommy, Thank you for the great question. The microwave could have faulty switches in the door, a bad magnetron PartSelect Number PS12705729, faulty internal circuitry (such as a diode PartSelect Number PS12071314 or capacitors PartSelect Number PS12071313, PS12071296, a blown fuse PartSelect Number PS12071294). But the most common part replaced for this issue is the door switches PartSelect Number PS12071303(2), PartSelect Number PS12071302(1). You can test for continuity with a multi meter as well before replacing the switch. Thanks again for the great question.
