I am looking to replace the drum glide on my front loading dryer. On the parts page it mentions some dryers may need 2. Can you verify if my model has more than one glide?

How do you know if the drum glides are bad? Front of the drum, were you load the clothes in, drops down a little. What could that be?
For model number DSXH43EA1WW
Hi Richard,
Thank you for your question. Usually if your dryer is having a hard time turning or is making a lot of noise while spinning, you know that it is time to replace your glides. If your drum is dropping from place, I would suggest looking at the rear drum support of the spider arm attached to the back of the drum. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.
Does this model require 2 drum guides? Parts list says some models do.

Hi Al,
Thank you for your question. All model require at least two, your model requires just the two. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.

The machine squeaks once and awhile. Started little then more. Took apart and clean inspected put back together, still squeaks. Couldn't get drum out. tried to lift up and out but no good. Are they hard to get up and out sometimes? The felt in front that holds the drum is almost even with rim on top.

Hello LeVern, Thank you for the question. We have linked a How to Video that will show how to move the Drum. We also suggest checking the Drum Bearing, Drum Slides, Felt Seal and Belt for wear or damage. We hope this helps!
