Good part but...
I ordered this in stock part online on a Sunday and apparently the request was sent to a storeroom that had no stock. After not getting a shipping confirmation I called and they explained the situation and told me it was fixed in the system and it should ship in a couple days. After a couple days I had to call again and same thing, the order was stuck in a storeroom with no stock. Again, I was told it would ship in a couple days and this time it did. So in my mind I shouldn’t have to hound them to get a in stock part to ship, so no 5 star review but that part and price was good, so 3 stars, one star off for each call I had to make and the delay of receiving it.

My burner is warped. I've had the stove for 4 years. It burns propane. Is this normal?
For model number C2S985SET3SS
Hi Ed, Thank you for the question. No, I would not say it was normal for the burner to be warped. I suggest having it replaced. The burner may have had a defect when it was made and caused it to warp. Hope this helps!

Does the 3r burner assembly include the aluminum base with gas ports and the cast iron ring that covers it (not the center cap)?
For model number PGB935SET1SS
Hi Robert, Thank you for the question. The 3R Burner includes everything you see in the picture, The aluminum base and the cast iron ring. Hope this helps!

Does part wb16k10079 include all that is required to replace the right front burner other than the small flat disc on top of the unit? The main unit is distorted and bubbled so that the unit does not fit on the base easily and the Flame is uneven, noisy and yellow. All other burners work well.
For model number CC2S985SET1SS
Hi David, sadly no, you would still need outer burner cap PS3503823. Thank you for your question and good luck with your repair!
The 3r burner asm (part #157 on your diagram) on my stove top burns only 3/4 of the way. Can it be clogged or is part of the element burnt out. Cannot take the 3 screws off also to check inside.
For model number PGB935SET3SS
Hi Raymond,
Thank you for your question. If all of your other burners are fine then it is likely you will have to replace this burner. Good luck with your repair.

My stove's big 3r burner assembly is bent from one side narrowing the gap on one side and causing half Flame. I am looking at the parts #s and probably it is number 157 in catalogue, and part# is ps3650622 for $129. I am seeing the picture of the part from bottom side (which looks similar to mine) but I don't see the top view. I just wanted to make sure that I am placing the order for the right thing. Can someone call me or email me to make sure before I place the order. Thanks

The 3r burner will not light sometimes. I am using propane and the electric ignition is working but the burner will not light all of the time. Should i replace the burner?
For model number CGS985SET2SS
Hello Joseph, Thank you for the question. If you can not light the burner with a match, you may need the burner valve, PartSelect Number PS2353520 as it is not releasing gas to the burner. Hope this helps!

The burner in the front right corner lights fine when it is cold, but when you shut it off and then try to relight it, it sounds like it is sparking the rear burner and it will not light without the use of a barbecue lighter. Also, this burner is very warped now. Is this a burner issue or an electronic igniter issue?
For model number CCGS985SET1SS
Hi Mark,
Thank you for your question. If the burner is not igniting correctly and if you try to relight it and it sounds like one of the other burners is trying to light, the burners may be either wet or dirty, the electrode is not seated properly, or the burner head and cap are not matched up properly. If there is moisture in the burner heads, the burner will not ignite. Wipe up any excess moisture and allow the area to dry before using it again. If the electrode is not seated properly, press down on the electrode using and twist in a clockwise motion until the electrode sits flush with the cooktop and also make sure that each burner head is placed in the correct position on the cooktop. Also make sure the burner cap matches its burner head. The burner cap will lay flat and fit securely if put on correctly. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

The Flame is not consistent all the way around the burner. Only have Flame on 2/3 of the burner . Do I need to replace the aluminum burner. Thanks sergio
For model number CCGS990SET1SS
Hi Serigo, this can be caused by a variety of parts. It could be a bad ignitor PS4704151, flame hole on burner head being clogged or the burner head being in the wrong position. Thank you for your question and good luck with your repair!
