Uncontrollable shaking during spin cycle and it appears that the tub dropped and rubs on the bottom of washer cabinet. Do I need a shipping bar or some sort of part to assist in its suspension?
For model number HSWP1000M2WW
Hello Nelson,
Thank you for your question.
In most cases when you get a machine shaking as you describe it is caused by damage to the Tub Dampinging Straps part number PS271100. I would check these for damage.
I hope this helps!
I just recently replaced the tub dampening straps and now the tub seems to have droppen and is rubbing on the bottom of the washing machine and making a heck of a noise how do i lift the tub back up so it doesn't rub?
For model number WHRE5550K2WW
Hi Russell, there can be many causes for this, it could be as simple as a nut becoming loose enough for the tub to droop. The only way to tell for sure is to have service technician take a look. Thank you for your question and good luck with your repair!
