Easy fix
Right part at the right price easy to install. NOTE: carefully peel sticker from original to transfer to new cover. I used a low heat gun to get adhesive backing to stay in position on new cover.

For model number LFSS2612TFO
Hello David, thank you for reaching out. We have found relevant instructions for you to replace the dispenser trim, part number PS12364142, for your model. They may not be of the exact same model but they will help you with the installation. You may follow the following steps to replace the trim:
1. On the bottom of the display are two locking tabs holding it in place, insert a flat blade screwdriver into the slots and gently push up and pry it towards you to release them.
2. Now slide the display down carefully and disconnect these three electrical connectors.
3. Remove the wires and water lines from the retainers.
4. Next, remove these three screws with a quarter-inch nut driver and disconnect the electrical connector on the right side then pinch these two retaining tabs towards each other to release the ice chute door from the fridge and slide it towards you.
5. Now, remove the drip tray by lifting it up on the front and pulling it out.
6. Remove the screws with a quarter-inch nut driver then gently pull the dispenser shield away from the refrigerator.
7. To remove the trim, gently pry on the tabs with a flat-blade screwdriver. Start at the top tab and work your way down alternating between sides then separate the shield from the trim piece.
We hope this information is useful!
